Festival Philosophy

-To provide a festival that is student and director centered
-To operate a festival that is musically and educationally oriented without competition or grading
-To provide a workshop type environment so that students can learn and improve by participation and listening
-To provide excellent performance examples which groups can strive to emulate
-To develop a positive atmosphere in which students and directors can learn by listening, sharing, and working together
Canadian Rocky Mountain Festival Volunteer Registration

An important part of our festival is our volunteer staff. Volunteers are asked to work long hours in return for room and board.

It is helpful that volunteers have a musical background in order to understand the workings of the festival.

Volunteers are required to be at the festival site in Banff on April 23rd, 2009 at 1:00pm.

Volunteer responsibilities will end late April 27.
