Festival Philosophy

-To provide a festival that is student and director centered
-To operate a festival that is musically and educationally oriented without competition or grading
-To provide a workshop type environment so that students can learn and improve by participation and listening
-To provide excellent performance examples which groups can strive to emulate
-To develop a positive atmosphere in which students and directors can learn by listening, sharing, and working together
