We are now taking applications for the Teachers Professional Development Program. According to teachers who have been part of this program over the past years this is probably the best PD you will ever receive. We are pleased to announce that our guest groups for this Years Festival Concerts are NiteCap Vocal Jazz and Capilano University Jazz A Band.
SHOWCASE CONCERTS
Thus far the following groups will be performing Showcase Concerts at the festival: Central Memorial Choirs(Calgary),Flathead High School Choir (Flathead, Montana), Form & NufSed (Edmonton), ihana (Red Deer), Kokopelli (Edmonton), Seycove Choir(Vancouver), Vincent Massey Sr. Jazz Band(Winnipeg) NOVEMBER 27, 2011CONCERTS
There are two types of concerts at the festival; Festival Concerts and Showcase Concerts.
FESTIVAL CONCERTS feature our guest groups and take place in the main theatre the Eric Harvie Theatre. All groups will be scheduled into the festival concerts so you will attend Festival Concerts on Thursday & Friday or on Friday & Saturday.
SHOWCASE CONCERTS feature outstanding festival performing groups that have been selected for these concerts. These concerts take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. All concerts are on a first come basis except for the Kokopelli Saturday night concerts which will be ticketed. NOVEMBER 27, 20112012 FACILITATORS
